"Love all, trust few, do wrong to none." "Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none" is a famous line from William Shakespeare's play, All's Well That Ends Well. It is often interpreted as advice to maintain a general open-heartedness and benevolence toward everyone while being discerning and selective about whom you trust, and to avoid harming others. The full quote includes the advice, "be able for thine enemy, Rather in power than use; and keep thy friend Under thy own life's key: be check'd for silence, But never tax'd for speech"
