Vatnajökull Glacier, located in southeast Iceland, is the largest glacier in Europe, covering about 8% of the country's landmass. It features numerous outlet glaciers, active volcanoes beneath its ice, and is part of the Vatnajökull National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
